Telegael (Ireland), Elijah Rock Productions (USA), Ericka Nicole Malone Entertainment (USA) and Toonz Entertainment Group are in production on JG and the BC Kids, an animated feature film created by Janet Hubert (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air). Hubert is also a co-producer of the feature.
Telegael’s design team are creating the character and background designs, animation is being carried out at Toonz animation studios in India with picture and sound post production being carried out at Telegael’s studios in An Spidéal, Galway.
The animated feature tells the story of Janet Granite, aka JG, a super intelligent and athletic scientist and inventor who travels the world to find and nurture special children from multicultural communities. JG teaches these children to be confident about who they are, no matter what they look like or what their interests are. A group of talking dinosaurs with their own superpowers help her as she works with the children and fights off the evil Dr. Zandor who wants to take control of the World.
JG and the BC Kids encourages children to embrace differences, to find their own strengths and to be confident and courageous in life.
