Final Call for Entries for Dublin Animation Film Festival 2016!

Dublin Animation Film Festival  have put out a final call for entries for the Dublin Animation Film Festival Awards. The final date for receipt of entries is Friday, 15th July 2016 at 5pm.  Entry forms can be downloaded from www.dublinanimationfilmfestival.com

The Festival which is celebrating its sixth year has been supported by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council since the first screenings were held in Blackrock in 2011. This year’s categories include Best Irish Short Film, Best Irish Student/Graduate Film, the Spirit of 1916 Award and the Audience Choice Award.

Festival Director Fionnghuala Ní Néill observed:

‘We are delighted to announce that one of our main sponsors, Mutiny Post will sponsoring the Audience Choice Award and awarding a prize of €1000 of Mutiny Post sound services for this category which will be presented on the night with the trophy.  Mutiny Post are also offering €500 worth of sound services for the creator of a student or graduate short film. We are very appreciative of the support by Mutiny Post. Last year, when they sponsored the Audience Choice Award, the winning film was ‘The Story of Gin’ by up and coming Dublin studio, Ben and Anvil. I am looking forward to hearing this year’s Audience Choice winner being announced!’
