A Greyhound of a Girl continues its success with another award at the recent Chicago International
Children’s Film Festival where it won 1st Prize for best animated Feature Film. It has also been
nominated for the European Film Awards coming up in December. This adds to the list of
screenings which include a nomination for Best Animated Feature Film at Cinekid Festival. The
feature is due for Release in various countries across Europe in early 2024.
Work for the feature was carried out in JAM Media’s Dublin and Belfast studios and was produced by

Amrion (EE), GFM Animation (UK), Fish Blowing Bubbles.

FRAMEWORKS SHORT FILM ‘WORRY WORLD’ AT 34TH GALWAY FILM FLEADH
Worry World received its World Premiere as part of the Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland shorts programme
at this year’s Galway Film Fleadh and went on to receive the James Horgan Award for Best Animated
Short Film. It later received the Audience Award for Best Short – Animation at the Newport Beach
Film Festival. Worry World was directed by Jessica Patterson, written by Hugh O’Conor and produced
