Boulder Media’s first CG feature film ‘My Little Pony: A New Generation’ was released on Netflix on the 24th September.
Directed by Robert Cullen and Jose Ucha, with co-director Mark Fattibene, the movie has received praise from critics and audiences alike, with a current rating of 90% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The movie went to the top of the charts in its launch week, earning the #1 spot in the Kids section of Netflix in 86 countries and went on to become the #1 movie across all genres in 20 countries across the world.
The movie centres around a new Mane cast, Izzy, Sunny, Hitch, Pipp and Zipp at a time where friendship has been replaced by fear in Equestria.
Sunny, an Earth pony and Izzy, a unicorn, embark on an adventure that takes them to faraway lands and challenges them to make new friends as they strive to restore harmony to Equestria.
