Congratulations to the most recent Irish beneficiaries of the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme funding schemes – Single Project Development and Television Programming Support.
In Single Project Development, awards totaling €145,000 were offered. The supported projects include two animation projects. The first is Hunted! from Monster Entertainment as well as Jelly Pixies from Light Cube Studios.
€570,000 was awarded through the TV Programming Support scheme to the Irish animation, Peckles, from Jam Media and to the documentary, Cuba’s Wild Revolution, from Crossing the Line Productions.
The Irish Film Board received €150,000 for Screen Training Ireland’s European Training Course, Screen Leaders, a strategic company development programme for the screen industries
These awards have brought the total investment in 2016 by Creative Europe MEDIA into Irish companies to over €1.5 million.
