A huge congratulations to Joseph Orr starting his new full time role as Programme Coordinator for the NTAA! Joseph will work with Programme Director, Deirdre Barry, to organise even more fabulous workshops and mentorships for people with a passion for animation who are hoping to learn more about the biz!
We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Róisín Chapman to the Animation Ireland team as our new Administrator. Róisín is no stranger to the animation industry having worked with the team at Daily Madness as a Screenwriter for their First Credit Initiative, and being an Alumni of our very own NTAA mentorship programme where she developed her skills with writer Danny Stack. Róisín will be working alongside, Ronan McCabe, CEO of Animation Ireland, Delphine Coudray, our Head of Operations, Deirdre Barry, Programme Director for the National Talent Academy for Animation and Joseph Orr, with the board of directors: Moe Honan, Chair (Moetion Films), Louise Cornally (Brown Bag Films), Mark Cumberton (Jam Media), Claire Finn (Lighthouse Studios), Niamh Herrity (Pink Kong Studios), Katja Schumann (Cartoon Saloon) and Alex Sherwood (Giant)
