Brown Bag Films have some fantastic new episode releases to keep you entertained this Spring. Ridley Jones Season 5 is now streaming on Netflix and brand-new episodes of Eureka! are airing on Disney Junior and streaming on Disney+.

Ridley Jones, from acclaimed creator Chris Nee (“Doc McStuffins”), is a preschool animated series produced by Brown Bag Films. The series follows six-year-old Ridley who protects the museum she calls home with the help of her family and friends. Brown Bag Films’ Animated Series for Apple TV+Eva the OwletPremieres March 31

Brown Bag Films is excited to share the news that brand-new series Eva the Owlet is swooping onto Apple TV+ on March 31.  

Produced by Scholastic Entertainment with production services and animation by Brown Bag Films, Eva the Owlet stars Eva, a creative, cheeky owlet who lives next door to her best friend Lucy in the woodland world of Treetopington. With big ideas and an even bigger personality, the sky is the limit for Eva and her woodland friends. 

The charming animated, kids and family series was inspired by the bestselling Scholastic book series “Owl Diaries,” from award-winning author Rebecca Elliott. 

Eva the Owlet is part of Apple TV+ kids’ changemakers initiative that brings world-renowned education leaders together with the world’s most creative storytellers to create inspiring and enriching original series for kids. The initiative encourages imagination, self-confidence and critical thinking through Apple Original series. Eva the Owlet premieres March 31 on Apple TV+ but the adorable official trailer is available to watch now!

Flurry of Awards Nominations Across Brown Bag Films’ Productions!

This quarter saw an incredible flurry of awards nominations across Brown Bag Films titles at the NAACP Image Awards, the Annie Awards, Cynopsis Best of the Best, and Canadian Screen Awards!

Eureka! and Karma’s World received nominations for the 54th NAACP Image Awards across 3 categories:

  • Outstanding Animated SeriesEureka!
  • Outstanding Character Voice-over Performance (Television)Chris Bridges for his role as Karma’s dad, Conrad Grant, on Karma’s World
  • Outstanding Breakthrough Creative (Television)Hannah Cope for her role as Producer on Karma’s World

Brown Bag Films’ editorial team also received an Annie Award nomination for ‘Best Editorial – TV/Media’ for their fantastic work on Karma’s World episode “Keys, The Inventor”, episode 2 in Season 4 of the series.

Blue’s Clues & You! received a nomination in the Cynopsis Best of the Best & Rising Star Awards for Best Preschool Series. The series is produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio, 9 Story Media Groups’ Creative Affairs division, and Brown Bag Films.

Let’s Go Luna! received a Canadian Screen Awards nomination for Best Original Music, Animation (Television) for the episode “Dig it Daddy-O”, episode 25 in Season 2 of the series. Let’s Go Luna! is produced by 9 Story Media Group and animated at Brown Bag Films’ Toronto studio.
