Animation, Inc. Ireland’s Creative Industry – A feature length documentary that charts the remarkable journey of animators that went from honing their craft in the American, UK and Canadian led colleges and studios of Ireland in the 1980’s/90’s, to leaders in education and of studios in those same countries today.
Irish studios Cartoon Saloon (Song of the Sea, The Secret of Kells), Brown Bag Films (Doc McStuffins), Giant Animation, Barley Films, and more are being featured in the feature length documentary directed by Darren Williams.

The film was funded and produced independently. The filmmakers are now awaiting a decision for completion funding from the Irish Film Board. Updates on the film can be found on the Facebook page for the production company Northern Atlantic.
