We are delighted to announce winning a Kinsale Shark Award for Best Music Video Animation with our short film, ‘The Voyage’. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the awards were announced via social media.

The short was based on singer Christy Moore’s classic song The Voyage, and was produced for RTE’s Comic relief to help raise much needed funds for COVID 19 relief. At the beginning of lockdown, Christy Moore called into The Ray D’Arcy RTE radio programme and performed a stripped-back rendition of his timeless classic, which tells of the importance of sticking together and supporting each other in troubled times.
This was quite a timely and apt song for our troubled times and our award winning Director Jess Patterson reimagined the song as a stunning short piece about a girl and her grandfather who are separated due to the pandemic.
The short has received an amazing response from the public and media to date and helped contribute to a number of funds benefiting Covid 19 relief.
