Monster sells raft of Irish programming

Monster Entertainment has recently made a raft of sales for Irish-produced animation. 

The Day Henry Met…?, award-winning animation produced by Wiggleywoo Ltd, has been sold to RTÉ in Ireland, RAI Cinema in Italy, San Marino, Vatican City, Monaco, Malta and Italian speaking Switzerland, and Eesti Rahvusringhääling in Estonia for Free TV, IDIPPER in France, and TF1 Video in France, DROM, POM, TOM-COM, Monaco, Andorra, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg for VOD rights, to Svensk Filmindustrie for Scandinavian home entertainment and digital rights, to TFO in Canada for Free TV rights and TVO in Canada for TV distribution rights, and to Kanopy for educational VOD rights. 

The Day Henry Met…?’, the worldwide broadcast and ratings hit, is continuing to build a robust publishing and licensing programme. In Italy, its licensing agent, Team Entertainment, has made new deals with Di Costa SpA , a famous sweet confectionery company based in Sicily. Di Costa SpA will launch a selection of chocolate Easter Eggs with premiums, together with a publishing deal with a major company which is currently being finalized which will mean that a range of books and activities will soon be in the Italian bookshops. These deals come hot on the heels of a kiosk deal with Teaser Lab who will launch in September the first activities and colouring books. 

Internationally, there is a new publishing deal in Greece with Agyra in addition to existing publishing deals with O’Brien Press in the UK and Ireland, New Frontier in Australia and New Zealand and Egmont in Poland who have published 6 books and will publish 6 more in 2020 

Peek Zoo, produced by Igloo Films, has been sold to KIKA in Germany and YLE in Finland for Free TV rights, to Azoomee in the USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Netherlands, Sweden and Malta and Fauna for worldwide VOD rights. 

Brewster the Rooster, produced by Salty Dog pictures, has been sold to Adventure 2 Learning for worldwide educational rights and has season 2 been pre-sold to YLE for free TV rights. I’m A Creepy Crawly, produced by Monster Entertainment, has been picked up by Hopster for worldwide SVOD rights, and to Adventure 2 Learning for worldwide educational rights. 

I’m A Fish, produced by Monster Entertainment, has been sold to Curious World, Hopster and Epic! for worldwide VOD rights, to Adventure 2 Learning for worldwide educational rights Planet Cosmo, produced by Geronimo Productions, has been sold to Curious World worldwide for SVOD rights, and Fauna in Turkey for AVOD and SVOD. 

Kidoodle has acquired worldwide OTT rights for The Day Henry Met…?, Peek Zoo, Brewster the Rooster, I’m A Creepy Crawly, I’m A Fish, I’m A Monster, and Fluffy Gardens. Azoomee picked up the VOD rights in the USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Netherlands, Sweden and Malta for Peek Zoo, Brewster the Rooster and The Day Henry Met…? 

Monster Entertainment has worked with Vitor Media to create their own channel; Monster Kids Channel, on Roku in the United States for Brewster the Rooster, I’m A Creepy Crawly, I’m A Fish, I’m A Monster, Planet Cosmo, and Rocka-Bye Island. 

Harry & Bip, produced by Ink and Light Films, has been sold to OkiDokiDo for OTT rights in Turkey, and to RAI Cinema for commercial video rights in Italia, Vatican City and San Marino Farmer Mo, produced by Wiggleywoo Ltd, has been pre-sold to SVT in Sweden for Free TV and On- Demand rights. Storykeepers, produced by Shepard Films, has been sold to Encripta; and Punky, produced by Geronimo Productions, has been sold to Kanopy for educational VOD rights in the United States.
