Animation Dingle took the form of a virtual festival once again due to the global pandemic. We are playing our part in our country’s recovery and based on the success of last year’s conference we decided to keep it all online.
Animation programmes, workshops, keynotes, talks, were accessed globally over the two days of the festival. We screened the very best in both professional, student shorts and features from Ireland and around the world. With over 1800 active users on the platform, the virtual festival allowed us to once again engage more participants than a physical festival can accommodate.
Animation Dingle continues to provide professionals and students with over 50 hours of content by way of the Conference, Screenings, Workshops and Awards. The festival offered participants a global perspective on the art of developing, financing, and producing animated content, for screens both big and small, connecting them with industry and celebrating the work of both.
We would like to thank all our sponsors particularly Screen Ireland and Enterprise Ireland, the many wonderful speakers and all involved in making the digital festival such a success.

JAM Media – Sustainable production
March 2022
JAM is committed to fostering a thriving sustainable animation, television and digital media production industry. This is applied across all productions, adopting cleaner technologies and supporting more sustainable behaviours. With this in mind we have recently planted 70 trees; a tree for every member of the crew working on Nova Jones Season 2 through the National Trust during National Tree Week which runs from 20th March – 26th March. During the production we are further committed to sustainability in production from adopting a zero waste management policy to reducing energy consumption throughout.
