elk.Studios is wrapping up on the series – “Funny Little Monsters,” coproduced with Mutiny Group / Here to The Moon. Broadcast to begin in April 2023 on RTÉ. A busy previous 12 months, the elk crew has grown, having developed several projects, both internal IP and co developments.
We are working with a number of creatives, both authors and illustrators in early stage development. We especially value our collaborations with diverse creatives and projects that have perhaps not had the level of exposure that we have achieved in Ireland.
Our strategic plan is to continue to offer script to screen services to third parties, while simultaneously growing our own IP and upskilling our crew through the service work which helps us identify current and future skills needs.
elk.Studios was awarded a Creative Futures Fund and we’d like to thank Screen Ireland for supporting us.
We’d like to announce that Aisling Conroy has joined elk.Studios as the Development Director and Series Director. Aisling’s role will oversee the development of internal IP, directing our CoPros, and directing our 2022/2023 Frameworks, that we’re excited to start sharing in the coming months. Aisling will be managing our slate, while ensuring that the content we manage aligns with our ethos.
Aisling has worked in the industry for over seven years, focusing on Directing and the Art Department.
