Full time Administrator for Animation Ireland & the National Talent Academy for Animation

Animation Ireland is the representative body for the animation industry on the island of Ireland, encompassing forty-four leading studios that employ over 2,500 full-time professionals. The National Talent Academy for Animation provides support and opportunities for new and existing talent through a range of courses and programmes nationwide, funded by Screen Ireland and managed by Animation Ireland.

This is a one year contract position (full-time) with a salary of €30,000 per annum for a five day week. The work hours will be shared between the two organisations.

Role: Details and Duties

The list below is not exhaustive and might be complemented by reasonable and related additional tasks. 

  • General administration (data entry, bookkeeping, etc.)
  • Assistance and organisational support to the Director and team. 
  • Travel coordination for markets, festivals etc. 
  • Processing programme applications.
  • General NTAA website updates and management.
  • General social media account management.
  • Dissemination of marketing material. 
  • In this role, some national travel may be required. An aspect of unsocial hours may be a feature of this position from time to time. Please note that this role is a remote working position but the administrator must be based in Ireland.

Requirements – Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Required: high proficiency in data entry, spreadsheet software, record keeping and accounting principles. (VAT, payroll, invoicing, etc)
  • Prior administration experience is essential.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong organisational skills and time management Skills.
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written across email, phone and in person. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs and Google suite.
  • Experience with CMS (Content Management Systems), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and WordPress preferred.
  • Online/virtual platform experience (for example Zoom, Slack, GSuite, Doodle, MailChimp, Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, etc) is preferred.
