Another Service Work project broadcast for Daily Madness

Following on from the launch of Critters TV in October 2019, Daily Madness are delighted to see their second service work TV series broadcast in December 2019 on RTEjr.

Hired by Ink & Light, Daily Madness provided design and animation services for 27 episodes of new TV series ‘Ollie’. Ollie is produced by Lunanime, Ink and Light and Storyline and distributed by BETA Film. The series is supported by Fís Éireann/ Screen Ireland, RTÉjr, Ketnet, VAF, Screen Flanders, Creative Europe MEDIA, Lum.Invest, The Belgian Taxshelter for Film Finance and received the support of incentives for the Irish Film Industry provided by the Government of Ireland.

The 52 episode series, created by Belgian director Anton Setola, tells small stories about big issues such as discovery, friendship, being alone, and the importance of the little things in life. Script-writing was also divided between the co-producers, with the Irish scripts headed up by Shannon George as Story Editor.

The Daily Madness pipeline was led by Line Producer Sarah-Jane Kelly, Art Director Adam Kavanagh and Animation Director Gemma Martin.

Ollie is available to view now on RTEjr, and for further details of the series please contact Tamsin Lyons of Ink & Light.
