Welcome to Maverick Films Limited – a multi award-winning production company with a taste for adventure. Set up by mother daughter team De and Zoe, the company is based in Dublin, Ireland with IPs in animation and live action – shorts, series and features. Happy to partner with other innovative companies in pursuit of the vision.

We created our own IP Flutter Valley which is in development as both the animated Feature Film ‘Wingin’ It’ and our Flutter Valley Series.

Zoe Doyle
Zoe Doyle is a director and producer and founder of Maverick Films Limited. Zoe has a degree in Film and Video Production from IADT Ireland and is a qualified editor FCPX certified. With an interest in acting and writing Zoe studied film in London and Los Angeles and has worked in a number of production roles in the film industry in Dublin. Having trained both adults and children in film, Zoe enjoys working with actors when it comes to directing Voice Overs for animation. Along with producing the animation Flutter Valley, Maverick Films has live action films with international appeal in development at its Dublin studios. Deirdre Lyons Doyle
From Dublin and with a background in visualising, illustration and writing, Deirdre has produced the artwork for the Flutter Valley animation series. Work here includes storyboards, animatics artwork as well as all character design and settings. Deirdre has also worked as an Art Director in the film industry. She wrote and illustrated the children’s book An Chóisir which was published by An Gúm. Deirdre has illustrated numerous children’s schoolbooks for use nationally. Her exhibitions include oils, watercolours and mixed mediums. ‘As a visualiser, it was that quick thumbnail sketch that always caught the feeling. I try to get this freshness of thought into my work.’ De is a member of The Screen Directors Guild of Ireland.
