A brand-new Adult Swim series set in the Rick and Morty universe, President Curtis, is being animated by Kilkenny’s Lighthouse Studios, it was announced today.
President Curtis follows the Commander-in-Chief and his eccentric staff as they tackle the kind of crises that Rick Sanchez could never be bothered with – from interdimensional diplomacy to paranormal investigations and unexplained phenomena.
Adult Swim announced the new adult animated comedy starring Emmy® Award-winning actor Keith David following a surprise appearance by David during Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty panel at last Friday’s San Diego Comic-Con. Lighthouse Studios has been providing animation services for production studio, Green Portal, on Rick and Morty since 2022. To date, the studio has delivered animation on Season 7 and Season 8 and is currently working on Season 9.

Rick and Morty Season 8 is currently available on Channel 4 with new episodes released weekly.
