JAM are hiring a Junior Developer in Dublin!

JAM Media is looking for talented Javascript and Python Developers for its pipeline and game dev team. The role will focus on developing tools and scripts in a variety of technologies to assist the animated production pipeline and develop games and content around our brands. You’ll join an multi-award winning animation and technology company creating high quality, innovative content for the children’s and pre-school audience.

This position would be ideal for recent graduates who wish to gain experience in a range of technologies.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop GUI based tools in Javascript and or Python for artists.
• Develop and maintain Python based scripts in art applications and pipeline tools.
• Develop new features for in-house asset management system and web based tools.
• Collaborate with in house artists to automated tasks to streamline and support production.
• Game development in Unity, Unreal or HTML5

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong understanding of OOP and good programming practices
• Ability to write maintainable and robust code
• Experience using version control systems
• Able to think creatively outside the box
• Ability to collaborate and communicate well
• Great attitude to learning new technologies and skills

DESIRED

• Test driven experience
• Game development experience
• Unity/UE4 experience
