About the role
The TA and Development Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating both talent acquisition and development activities including some related HR admin activity, ensuring the seamless recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of our crew in all areas.
 
 
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition: 
Candidate Sourcing:
  • Where necessary, assist hiring managers with the recruitment process, including advertising positions and coordinating the recruitment cycle to ensure timely hiring within production schedules.
  • Where necessary, review and screen incoming CVs and applications, identifying qualified candidates and maintaining an up-to-date Applicant Tracking System and internal trackers.
  • Partner with hiring managers and the HR team to deliver a high-quality recruitment service, managing candidate pools, and updating records throughout the hiring lifecycle.
Interview Coordination:
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and interviewers, preparing necessary materials and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Send assessments as required and maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring managers.
Documentation and Records Management:
  • Create and maintain candidate files and records, including talent pools, CVs, application forms, outbound internal and external offers, contracts and agreements and interview feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies in handling candidate information.
  • Maintain tracking of staff referrals.
  • Request, track, and store candidate test materials.
Candidate Communication:
  • Maintain communication with candidates, providing updates on their application status, sending offer letters or rejections if necessary, and addressing inquiries to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Event Coordination:
  • Serve as the point of contact for participants before, during, and after training and industry events.
  • Follow up with all participants to gain usable feedback which can be implemented into actions moving forward. Present these to TA & D Supervisor as required.
  • Maintain event documentation, including attendance records, programme materials, and evaluations.
Administrative Support:
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure smooth transitions for new employees and maintain the talent acquisition team’s calendar, including scheduling meetings and arranging travel when necessary.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, including filing, correspondence, and responding to inquiries via the jobs@ inbox.
  • Occasionally, you might be required to assist HR with their project needs.
Development:  
  • Content Management:
  • Oversee the Development SharePoint platform and other resources, maintaining a course tracker and creating a central course calendar accessible to all staff.
  • Produce training videos when required.
Onboarding Support:
  • Track new hire employee progress through the onboarding process with HR.
  • Ensure timely completion of required training through follow-ups.
  • Collect all necessary documentation from trainees and new hires for IDA and S481 purposes.
Training Communication Channels:
  • Support the training communication channels, providing information and assistance to employees.
  • Follow up with employees to ensure they have the necessary details for upcoming training sessions and provide any paperwork needed – e.g. course material.
  • Advise all crew on courses in the works and create a better learning environment.
Any other duties company management may from time to time deem necessary and reasonably require.
What Boulder are looking for?
  • Having experience in a Learning and Development role is advantageous.
  • A relevant qualification in Education, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition or related fields preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and relevant Talent Acquisition (TA) and LMS systems.
  • Familiarity with DocuSign for issuance of contracts.
  • Familiar with eLearning tools, Canva, and video recording software for internal training.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Basic understanding of employment legislation and hands-on experience with recruitment campaigns and processes.
  • Knowledge of adult education theory and practice is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Technology fluent with excellent computer literacy.
  • Experience using TA & LMS systems is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
