Algorithm hiring Digital Imaging Supervisor

Full Dome / Immersive Media Production

Remote • Dublin-Based Production • Project Contract | Path to longer term contracts

Algorithm is a Dublin-based production company seeking an experienced Digital Imaging Supervisor —
analogous to a CG Supervisor on an animated or VFX production — to lead a team of ~5 artists creating and
converting assets for hemispherical Full Dome projection. This role starts immediately through early November.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a team of ~5 digital artists; define role requirements and hiring profiles.
• Oversee conversion of video and CG animation assets to Full Dome format, determining the optimal
  balance of 3D rendered versus 2D graphic solutions.
• Design and implement scalable production pipelines for the current project and future productions.
• Apply systems thinking to define standards, document workflows, and solve for both known and emerging
  production challenges.
• Collaborate constantly with the Producer and Head of Animation to maintain creative and technical quality.
• Bring cinematic sensibility to storytelling, visual presentation, and creative decisions within the dome format

What You Bring

• 5+ years in a senior CG, VFX, or digital imaging role with experience leading artist teams.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Maya, Redshift, and other standard DCC tools; solid working knowledge of Unreal
  Engine.
• Strong understanding of compositing and the ability to evaluate 3D vs. 2D approaches for efficiency and
  quality.
• Experience designing production pipelines; comfort with scripting or workflow automation.
• Adaptable, creative, and self-directed — curiosity and craft matter more than prior dome experience.

Engagement Details

Location: Fully Remote. Dublin-based production; overlap with Irish working hours (GMT/IST) expected.
Engagement: Project Contract with a path to longer term additional projects.
Reports Into: Producer, in close collaboration with Head of Animation.
