The Overcoat will premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh on 14th July as part of the Irish Talent: New Shorts Six program in the Town Hall Theatre at 12pm.
The Overcoat is a warm and unique animation about an office worker that saves all his money to buy a new coat in time for Christmas, only to have fate take a ghostly hand.
Starring Cillian Murphy and Alfred Molina, The Overcoat is directed by Sean Mullen and Meelis Arulepp, with a script by Hugh O’Conor. The Overcoat is a co-production with Giant Animation and A Film Estonia with support from Screen Ireland, BocPix, Eesti Filmi Instituut and The Cultural Endowment of Estonia.
