As of January 2023, Animation Skillnet, Screen Skillnet and Immersive Technologies Skillnet have joined forces to form one new consolidated and expanded Skillnet network called Cultural & Creative Industries Skillnet. The Cultural & Creative Industries Skillnet Team include, Gareth Lee, Sean Smith, Susan Talbot, Barbara Deignan & Clodagh Kelly
The new network will build on the great work of all three networks to design, develop and deliver bespoke, flexible and relevant skills and talent development programmes to address the ongoing needs of the cultural & creative sectors including Animation, Visual Effects, Games, Film, TV, Documentary, Post-Production, Immersive Technologies, AR/VR, Virtual Production, Digital Media, Entertainment Events, Music, Theatre and Visual Arts.
They have some fantastic courses and events lined up for 2023 including an official launch event for the new network later this year and we’ll keep you posted on everything.
