JAM are unveiling its’ new preschool series, BeddyByes at Cartoon Forum in Toulouse in
September. BeddyByes takes young children on a playful, yet soothing journey towards
bedtime.
It is a new and innovative format for the very youngest and most underserved demographic:
toddlers to preschoolers. Designed specifically to take young children on a gentle, undulating
journey that reinforces the familiar evening to bedtime routine. Join MeMo and BaBa as they
encounter all kinds of fantastical beings that encourage good nutrition, mindfulness and
creativity, all the while winding down towards sleep.
NOVA JONES SEASON 2 – LIVE ACTION SERIES

The live action shoot for ‘Nova Jones Season 2/3’ – 20 x 24 minutes for CBBC/RTE has
officially wrapped. Shot in Belfast and Dublin, this live action shoot ran for 24 weeks and the
series will launch later this year.
Nova’s first tour was a blast, but you ain’t seen nothing yet! Nova is back to throw stardust
onto your day and make it sparkle! The queen of both tantrums and tiaras has her sights set
on more – more fame, more colour, more costumes, more music, more dance, and definitely
a lot more flavours of ice cream.
This hybrid musical series follows 18-year-old pop star Nova Jones and her tween sister on a
concert tour through the galaxy. On her space tour, she drops out of this world singles, killer
albums, and plays sell-out gigs to her fans across the universe. Nova Jones is the biggest star
in the galaxy.
CANDLELIGHT – NI SCREEN CREATIVE ANIMATION SCHEME SHORT FILM

JAM celebrates emerging talent and ‘Candlelight’ is the first animated short film by Scott
Newton who has written and directed, for JAM Media with the support of NI Screen through
NI Screen’s Creative Animation Scheme. The short made its global premiere at the Galway
Film Fleadh in July.
In a dusty attic, a tall dinner candle springs to life. As the playful and curious candle explores,
learning to hop, skip and dance, it discovers a second candle. The two play and dance their
way through the attic, falling in love. However, a shocking discovery is made when both
candles realise that the heat from their combined flames, whenever they touch, causes them
to rapidly melt. Splitting up, the two must decide whether life without the other can still be
magical, or if they want to sacrifice everything for love.
