In July 2020 CMC was re-invented as a week-long online conference of children’s and youth content, with webinars spaced at convenient intervals so that lock-down life could still go on!
Animation Ireland and its member companies participated in the CMC Video on Demand programme with a Focus on Ireland mini documentary. The documentary contains interviews with some of Ireland’s best 2D & 3D studios (Brown Bag Films, Cartoon Saloon, Daily Madness, Kavaleer, Moetion Films, Pink Kong Studios) discussing the importance of good business partnerships and co-productions, the Irish tax incentive, nurturing creative talent and developing IP and much more – all in all demonstrating that the Irish animation industry is still very much, “Still Here, Right Now”. Focus on Ireland is available to watch here:

The CMC is the only gathering in the UK for everyone involved in developing, producing and distributing content to kids – on all platforms. The event welcomes delegates from film, TV, radio, interactive media, games, licensing, toys, book and magazine publishing, the arts and culture sector and educational media – with speakers from all those areas and beyond. CMC is the best and most cost-effective way of meeting people to share insights and information relevant to your business.
Online content will remain accessible to registered delegates until 30 September: www.thechildrensmediaconference.com/events/cmc-2020/
