Animation studio Piranha Bar’s first pre-school series Mya Go has gone on air this month as part of RTEjr’s summer programme to a glowing reception.
Mya Go is a pre-school animated show about a young girl whose enthusiasm for life infects everyone around her. Set in the bustling town of Everyday, MyaGo lives here with the Go family. There’s Mama Go, Dada Go, her baby brother Sammy Go and her very best pal Doggy Go!
She spends her days discovering the world around her, celebrating the fun activities that Everyday has to offer. With her fearless sense of adventure and Go get it attitude, Mya Go embraces the task at hand and with the help of her friends, she is always ready to GO! and figure it out.
Alan Foley is at the helm for his debut as a Director and co-Creator of the series, working closely with head Writer Sam Morrison of Peppa Pig fame.
Mya Go was co-created by Alan Foley & Gilly, with Nicky Gogan as Series Producer. The series was produced by Michael Algar and Jordi Claveras and Executive Producers, Dave Burke, Gavin Kelly, Òscar Albert, Jorge Patiño, Tony Albert.
Mya Go is a co-production by Piranha Bar, Motion Pictures Entertainment and Dear Will, with the participation of IFB/BSÉ, RTÉ, RTVE, Super 3, with the support of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland and Department de Cultura de la Generalitat de Catalunya, and developed with the assistance of Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland.
