Nickelodeon’s first original interactive series, TOT COP, has launched in the US on the Noggin app, on Amazon Prime and on the Noggin Roku channel. Created by Mooshku‘s Jason and Méabh Tammemägi, TOT COP follows the preschool adventures of Truman (Tot Cop) and his partner Officer Ruth as they solve cases, help those in need and make time for the all-important happy dance.
Packed full of fun and action, TOT COP goes one stage further in bringing the audience into the show. With Nick’s Play-Along Video features, TOT COP is interactive on the Noggin app with tablet devices, allowing children to ride along with Tot Cop and Ruth and help crack the case!
TOT COP began life as a Mooshku short, TRUFAX TOT COP, through Nickelodeon’s International shorts programme before being greenlit for this new and innovative preschool series. Produced in Dublin at Mooshku working with Nickelodeon’s New York team for interactive elements, TOT COP represents a big step forward for the Irish creative company.
Méabh Tammemägi, Mooshku’s producer and co-creator of the show had this to say: “Tot Cop has been a wonderful journey from concept through the shorts programme and into full production. Audiences in the US can now meet Truman, Officer Ruth, Sprinkles the Cat, Fuzz, Pudding and many other colourful and funny characters as they help crack the case in Nick Jr’s TOT COP.
