Hopscotch and the Christmas Tree is a new animated special premiering this holiday season on RTEJr.
The film is produced by Ink & Light and Kinomind Films, commissioned by RTEjr, with support from Screen Ireland and the Lithuanian Film Centre. Its an adaptation of the picture book of the same name, directed by Katerina Vykhodsteva the film will roll out across Europe next year, distributed by Meta Media.
The film follows Hopscotch and her friends as they try to find the perfect Christmas tree. Everyone has different ideas of what that is, but they’ll keep going until they find one. After all, it wouldn’t be Christmas without a tree, would it?
