Dublin Animation Film Festival Award Winners Announced

Dublin Animation Film Festival took place on Saturday 22nd in the Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire.

The Festival  is the only festival in Ireland that is dedicated completely to showcasing animated films. It hosted a Q & A  with Academy Award Nominee Duke Johnson after the screening of his animated feature ANOMALISA, followed by the awards.

The winners are as follows

BEST IRISH STUDENT OR GRADUATE FILM

  1. Joining Dots – directed by Fiona Ryan –   the National Film School, IADT – Winner
  2. What’s the Point? – directed by Eleanor Bourke –  the National Film School – Honourable Mention

 

SPIRIT OF 1916 AWARD

BEST IRISH FILM
